ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE LEAD
Edward May is a Partner at Energy Intelligence Partners and has a background in private equity and investment banking, and has completed over $1 billion of investments. Experience includes private equity, M&A advisory, equity placement, structured finance and all aspects of sourcing, analyzing, due diligence, closing transactions and managing portfolio companies across the renewable energy space. Recent experience includes: Interim CEO/Board member of large merchant CHP-capable coal-to-biomass converted power plant; VP of Business Development/CFO for newly launched energy storage services startup; investment lead and Board member of wind power development company; and investment co-lead and Board member of small scale hydropower development company. Mr. May has a BA in Political Science with a minor in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and an MBA and MEM from Duke University.
