ENERGY ANALYSIS LEAD
Daniel Kauffman is an independent management consultant serving energy sector companies, service providers, and investors. Daniel's practice focuses on performing investigative market analysis in support of sales expansion and new service development, and leading technical due diligence involving complex subject matter. Daniel's recent investment evaluations have included projects in the fields of nuclear fusion, quantum computing, and capital project predictive analytics. Daniel is also the founder and CEO of Resispeak, an energy analysis company whose software performs portfolio-wide assessments and post-retrofit energy savings measurement for home energy efficiency programs and buildings portfolios. Previously, Daniel served as Director of Strategy for Siemens Smart Grid Applications where he developed and implemented strategic initiatives at the intersection of the electric grid, building and home automation, IT, and communications technology. Daniel was also a General Field Engineer with Schlumberger where he led exploration and reservoir appraisal operations, and pioneered new exploration technologies including three technical world’s firsts. Daniel has also served as a management consultant with Siemens Management Consulting and McKinsey & Company. Daniel has a BSE in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University, and an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
